Born in 1961, I have a life long interest in "how things work", whether that's machines, technical stuff, people, or social situations.  I work as a public servant in a busy government office in Ireland; every day is another chance to see our VERY odd species in action!

Interests include economics, internet marketing, metaphysics and philosophy, and... crime novels.  (Am a big James Ellroy fan!!)
